The current hope is to open doors in September. However, we’re at the mercy of construction, permits, and other legalities. We might not open to the public until October. Follow us online to stay up-to-date!
-
Absolutely. BUT. We might be pickier than you’d like. We’re looking for popular, current fiction OR popular classics. Books must be in excellent condition. Think: would you spend money on this copy if you saw it at a store?
Because of our tiny operation, we’re only buying BY APPOINTMENT! Please send an email or DM so we can set up a time to see your inventory.

We love supporting local creators. If you are a good fit for the shop AND we have room for what you make, we’d love to work something out.

We’re not open yet and are still unsure of our needs. But we’re open to lots of ideas and would love to talk! Tell us what you have in mind and send us your resume: fictionsectionskokie@gmail.com

Yes! We currently offer audiobooks through Libro.fm. You’ll be able to order ebooks and physical books through Bookshop.org once we’re all set up. And our whole inventory will be online as soon as we have it ready for you.
-
Absolutely. The entire catalog of audiobooks is available to you at Libro.fm. You’ll be able to order most titles soon from Bookshop.org. Once we’re open, we’ll do our best to acquire titles you need directly from publishers.

We’re hoping so, but it’s not going to be a big space. We would LOVE to pair up with your book club, though, to offer you discounts and swag. There are lots of places in Downtown Skokie for holding a book club after you buy your books from us ;)
